Long Revolution

The Long Revolution, or the Urban Unrest, is a wave of civil unrest in Heavenfall, beginning in the 2150s and continuing on to the present. Some political analysts believe the Long Revolution was sparked by the sudden resignation of president Rohit Sinha and the subsequent coup d'etat by sergeant Vad Dacula against his successor Martha Brown in 2156, while other analysts, such as Emilio Talentino and Mohammed bin Ahmed, believe it began with the 2153 assassination of Lynnestrom Tran or the 2150 election, respectively. The period is defined by conflicting attempts to reform the Heavenfall government, sovereignty movements in Vilmitan and the Sunken City, mass riots and violence, the decline of major corporations, and the end of Post-Triumvirate era politics.
