The Mederano Sea is a large body of water in western Astyria. Its extent is variously defined but usually taken to encompass at least the entirety of the Mederano Peninsula for which it is named. Its southern boundaries are usually regarded as being the northern end of the Putin Strait, in the southeast, and in the southwest a line which intersects both the Eth Bandig and New London, separating it from the Sea of Jajich. Its northern limits sometimes encompass the whole of Woodstead, while in the west it commonly extends to Kobolis and Serretes.
