The Ministry of Diplomatic Affairs is the foreign affairs ministry of the Empire Of Makko Oko. It is a cabinet-level agency, and its headquarters are located in the capital city of Opposh. The current Minister of Diplomatic Affairs is Andrew Woo, who has held the post since July 8th, 2027. The ministry oversees passports, visas, international affairs and diplomacy, asylum claims and prior to the prohibition of slavery, oversaw the slave trade through the Office of Slaves Affairs.
Mission
The Ministry of Diplomatic Affairs is responsible for the foreign policies and international affairs of the nation, including international travel.

Office of Diplomat Security
Director: Sheila Pritchett
This department is responsible for providing personal security to foreign dignitaries and diplomats residing within the Empire. They also assist in the protection of high-level government officials including the Minister of Diplomatic Affairs.
Office of International Programs
Director: Kalevi Sievinen
This department is responsible for managing the programs created or delegated to the ministry, including the FUNIA program and its respective lists.
Office of Slaves Affairs
Director: Jay Sicard
This department is responsible for representing and protecting slaves and their rights within the nation.
Ministers
The head of the ministry is known as the Minister of Diplomatic Affairs. In addition to heading the ministry itself, the Minister of Diplomatic Affairs also holds a place in the Executive Cabinet, and is the chief diplomat and representative for His Emperor's Government. The Emperor is responsible for appointing the Minister of Diplomatic Affairs, along with all other government positions in the cabinet. There is no limit on how long any person can hold the position, and historically Ministers of Diplomatic Affairs have served until retirement or dismissal.
