On September 23, 2017; The combined Commonwealth and Quenmines forces were evacuating the city of Ruscalov through the Pravdov Bridge, which was the only bridge leading to the Allied Lines and Safety. One of the last forces to cross the bridge was Richard Todd's 2nd Regiment, Task Force 141; wherein She was among the group with Sumiko Pham, Darzana Magbaredge, William George Hoang and 7 others. Ukyo had already crossed the bridge and was providing covering fire. However, A distress call came that Emrick's 4th Regiment was approaching the bridge to cross to safety. Sumiko, Reika and Darzana were providing covering fire until Reika noticed wires on the bridge. She knew the bridge was set to blow. She immediately ran across the bridge to defuse it but not without giving a sign to Sumiko about 'something'. After she did, She was shot be Lorican Infantry, instantly killing her. Allied Gunships were then bombarding the Lorican Lines. Upon seeing this, Ukyo; filled with rage seeing his lover killed charged towards the Lorican soldier with his combat knife, slashing the throat, killing it.

After the battle, Her body was taken back to New Akiba where his younger brother, Tokimune mourned sadly with the rest of the ATS personnel, Task Force 141 and 142 and the New Akiba Army Personnel. The King, Noctis Lucis Caelum personally ordered that she'd be posthumously be awarded with the Georgius Cross, The highest award ever given to a Lucian or Commonwealth Army Personnel. With that, She became the first female and ATS personnel to be awarded with the Georgius Cross. She was buried at Greendale National Cemetery with full military honors.
