The Populist Assembly (Soliçian: Assemblée Populiste) is the lower house of the Wintonian National Congress in Winst.
The Lower House known is elected with no fixed elections for a maximum of 5 years. Representatives of the Popular Assembly can't work for any of the Noble Families or if they do must be a part of a Union of Workers. The Lower House is responsible for most governmental functions especially the budget. The republican traditions in the lower house prevent and distrust any incursions of the upper house in their politics. There is a total of 150 representatives with districts redrawn every 10 years following the census.
