Ričardas Petrauskas (born 11 July 1953) is a Juznik politician currently serving as the Prime Minister of Juznia. Petrauskas first came to prominence in 1986 as one of the leaders of the Juznik Liberation Army during the Hytekojuznik Civil War later going on to serve in the Grobina Wars. Following the end of the Second Grobina War his party, Vystymasis! came first in the 1998 election and he became Prime Minister. His government has been characterised by accusations of authoritarianism, racism against Hyteks and corruption.
Early life
Petrauskas was born in Ariogala on 11 July 1953 to Antons, a police officer, and Vilma, a teacher. He is the second born of five children and has four sisters. He grew up in a deeply religious household with the family attending church every week.

Personal life
Petrauskas married Elzbieta Kulėšiūtė in 1990 and they have two sons, Arvydas and Šarūnas, who are both Vystymasis members of parliament. He is a devout Alydian and attends church with his wife most weeks.
