The SAKI-Saurer M/510 is an Alterian selective fire battle rifle made by SAKI Co. Ltd. and Saurer Arms. It entered service in 1957 and replaced the Lena-Elfield rifle from frontline service in Alteria. The M/510 would also see customers outside of Alteria; such as in Esthar and Balamb's Balambian Defence Force, and Jutland-Gimli. It saw service in certain departments in the Erebonian Empire and Rubrum as a federal police or territorial guard force primary arm. It was deemed reliable and cheap to produce.
