The War of the Delta (1712-1714) was a war between the Grand Duchy of Ja'ekha and the Kingdom of the Isles of Velar, fought over a strip of land on the east bank of the Flotir river. The Ja-ekhan-Velaran border had settled on a line thirty miles inland and east of the Flotir by 1710, but attempts by the Ja'ekhan grand dukes to take the independent city-state of Asketon into their sphere of influence included a pledge to provide Asketonian trade with unrestricted river access to the Sea of Velar. To achieve this, they prosecuted a war with Velar, hoping to secure the west bank with a brief offensive. The war instead dragged on for nearly two years and concluded with the Treaty of Asketon, which guaranteed that neither Ja'ekha nor Velar would attempt to control Asketon; it also firmly set the Flotir as the border of the two powers.

The war was the last major conflict between Ja'ekha and Velar until the War of the Velaran Succession broke out in 1769.
