The Xiphos-class is a class of high performance nuclear attack submarine of the Commonwealth Navy optimised for offensive sub-hunting, designed to complement the slower and cheaper Triton Class and replacing the costly and rather unreliable Talent Class. It is among the fastest and deepest-diving of Arthurista's submarine classes, with a top speed of over 38 knots, test depth of over 630m and collapse depth of nearly 1,000m. The class features improved signature-reduction technology compared to the Triton - it is as quiet at 20kn as older designs are at 5kn.

At more than $4.2 billion per vessel, the Xiphos are among the most expensive warships ever built in Arthurista. The program has been put indefinitely on hold after a production run of four boats.
