Martial Law in Creeperopolis in 2020 began on February 11, 2020, during the closing stages of the 2020 Creeperian Putsch attempted by the Revolutionary Government Junta for Creeperian Reorganization which was lead by Field Marshal Joaquín Barrueco Dengra. Martial law was declared by Chief Field Marshal Augusto Cabañeras Gutiérrez and was approved by Emperor Alexander II. The Creeperian Armed Forces became the de facto police force of the nation in the wake of the delcaration.
