Suder, formally the Federal Republic of Suder, is a Sexish country located in northeastern Abos. The country borders Ketha and Trewince to the east and Onsland and Natland to the west, with its southern borders formed by shoreline along the Achrinian Ocean. The country has an area of 239,288 and has a population of 21.3 million. It is a federal state, with sixteen counties. The country is governed as a parliamentary republic, with a president as head of state and prime minister as head of government. The country's capital is Weysburg but the largest city is the port of Joneta. Other major cities include Lowburg, Fritzic, and Northton.

The idea of modern Suder was established in about 1212, with petty kingdoms in the region slowly allying or being absorbed into the Kingdom of Suder. Suder established one of the first constitutional monarchies in an event known as the Castration of Connor I, where the monarch Connor I, an unpopular figure, was forced to recognize limits on his power, a metaphorical castration of the Suderan monarch. In 1776, Suder became the last major kingdom to fall under Ketha-Trewince's influence when Erik the Great took the Suderan Queen Elizabeth I as his wife, formally linking the two crowns together and allowing for the creation of the Union of the Seven Crowns, the state which governed Sexland until 1916. After the union was dissolved, Suder would avoid major conflicts intitially, though it would fight against Onsland and Ketha in the Second Great War.

Suder is a very diverse state, with seven official languages and seven major ethnic groups. Demographers tend to distrust official ethnic statistics, as ethnicity is closely linked to language and the similarity of the various Suderan ethnic groups means that is very easy for members of one ethnicity to quickly integrate and forget their original identity in a matter of decades. As a result of the incredible diversity, Suder is heavily federalized, with each county having considerable self governing powers. Diplomatically, Suder is a member of the Sexish Union and Abosian Trade Pact, and is a member of the Global Community as well. The country maintaisn a social democratic state with universal healthcare, national pension plans, and state intervention in key economic sectors. Suder is considered a high-income economy and a democratic state.
