List of tram and light rail systems in Manala

The following table lists tram and light rail systems in service by country. Only systems that are part of a city public transport system are listed here, not seasonal services and/or ones meant for tourists.

Types

• Tram: rail vehicle that operates on urban streets, though it may be on its own right of way on at least part of its route.
  • Interurban: a type of tram that travels between cities.
  • Heritage tram: an old tram preserved for heritage reasons.
• Light rail: similar to a tram, though they tend to travel over longer distances and stops are spaced further apart.
• Tram-train: a tram that runs part of its route on mainline tracks.
  • Train-tram: a modified mainline railroad vehicle that runs on tramway tracks.
• Rubber-tyred tram: a guided bus that runs along a rail.
