Zandigland, officially the Dominion of Zandigland, is a country in eastern Abos. It is the largest country by area of the Sexish Countries]. Consisting of twelve provinces, it borders Natland, with whom it shares a monarch. The country is double landlocked, being landlocked by another landlocked country, Natland. The country also borders Lake Zanduwe. The country has three languages, Natlander (spoken by about 68.6% of the population), Zandbewoner (spoken by about 18.3% of the population), and West Burgwieser (spoken by 9.1% of the population). Other languages make up about 4.0% of the population, predominantly immigrants from Onsland, Ketha, and Suder. These immigrant languages are not recognized, but they have a right to receive some essential services in their native language. Schools teach in the predominant languages of the locality and all students must learn Fluvan, their native language, and one of the other two national languages in school. This has resulted in Fluvan and Natlander becoming the effective de facto langue véhiculaires of the country.

The name Zandigland literally means "sandy land", a reference to the drier territory of the north of Greater Natland and in contrast to the wetter and more fertile lands of the Natland (literally: wet land), to the south. Greater Natland was formed by personal union between Zandigland and Natland. Greater Natland was a major player during the 15th century onwards, where it played a major role in the region. As a part of Greater Natland, Zandiglander colonies were established, primarily in cooperation with Suder and Onsland. These Zandiglander and Natlander colonies influenced the Onslander spoken in The Furbish Islands and the daughter language of Nuwelander. Along with the other Sexish Countries, Greater Natland joined the Union of Seven Crowns in 1776 and held the primacy for four different terms, just behind Onsland and Suder, who held the primacy five times each.

With a population of 5.3 million people and covering a total area of 1,000,239 square kilometers, making Zandigland one of the most sparsely populated countries in the world and the least densely populated country in the Sexish Union. Zandigland's population is primarily concentrated in the southern third of the country and along the shores of Lake Zanduwe. Its economy is industrialized, and much like Natland the presence of heavy coal and iron deposits makes Zandigland a large producer of steel and other metal goods. The largest city is the southern city of Zuidelijke but the capital is the lakeside city of Vriejsjtad. Agricultural production is limited, and most fertile land is used for living and the majority of food is imported. Zandigland's economy is considered high-income and developed, though it lags behind other countries by most metrics.

Zandigland is a parliamentary constitutional monarchy where the current monarch, Beatrix II, does not hold much real power and is primarily ceremonial, and most power lies with the Stadtholder, who is elected by the parliament, which itself is democratically elected. Zandigland is historically socially conservative, with women's suffrage not existing between 1944 and 1950. Same-sex marriage is not legal, but civil unions are. Regardless, the country has a generally positive human right's record. Zandigland is in a personal union with Natland and is a member of the Sexish Union and Global Community.
