The Strategic Ventismar Defence Council (German: Strategisches Ventismarienisches Schutzrat) is an intergovernmental military alliance between 6 Ventismarian and multiple international states. The organisation traces back to the Strategic Central Ventismarian Defense Pact between the Englean Empire, West Rezua, and the Kingdom of Talvistova in order to create a mutual defense pact against East Rezua and Librira. In the following decades, the alliance would expand to include Kiez, North Rukonia, and Umbrellya, with the name changing to the Strategic Ventismar Defence Council in the 1970s.

The SVDC constitutes a system of collective defence whereby its independent member states agree to mutual defence in response to an attack by any external party. Currently the body contains four command centres; NORDCOM (Northern Command) headquartered in Talvistova, WESTCOM (Western Command) in North Rukonia, CENTCOM (Central Command) in the Englean Empire, and EASTCOM (Eastern Command) in Rezua.
