300 AD - The Illyesian Empire is politically divided into a west and east

542 - The Rhomaion (Eastern Illyesian) Empire begins its reconquest over western territories

605 - Goldwyn conquers the Goldwynian Archipelago and absorbs it into its kingdom.

662 - Talvic Golden Age begins

674 - Talvistovan sailor and cartographer Egil Vendelcrow reaches the Islands of Makenzie and Athabaska, becoming the first man to fully chart the Ventismaran Coast.

746 The Rhomaions lose land to Islamic invasions

784 - Nikephorus I Philoponus launches reconquest in attempt to regain Rhomaion territories lost to Islamic forces

The First Great War

1915 - Rhodeve Prince Daniel Pentagrom and his transport ship were taken into custody during a layover in the city of Ein, within the Empire of the Tao.

Inter-War Period

1924 - The Ripuarian Civil War Begins

1928 - The Ripuarian Civil War Ends

1933 - The Nationalkongressen is bombed, starting the Talvistovan Winter Insurrection

1940 - The Stelten Massacre takes place

Post-War Period

1948 - LDA releases the first generation of the Lancet L-200 as the "car for the world"

1954 - Belantica passes the Motorways Act of 1954

1976 - A coup d'état by rebels overthrows the Republic of Sunrisia and replaces it with the Absolute Democracy of Sunrisia, a theocracy. Pro-Republic forces the Sunrisian Republican Army (SRA) wage an insurgency in the country's northern regions. After a ceasefire is reached, a referendum is held on the partition of Sunrisia into North and South. The referendum passes and Sunrisia is split into North Sunrisia and South Sunrisia. A period known as the Quasi-Civil War or the Division Period, begins. The North becomes Western-aligned, while the South becomes Eastern-aligned.

1980 - Revolution of Rebirth overthrows and dissolves North Sunrisia and South Sunrisia. North and South are reunified into a new incarnation of a single Sunrisian sovereign state of the Democratic Union of Sunrisia. Sunrisia declares neutrality and equally distances itself from the West, from the East and any existing power blocs.

1992 - Sunrisia speaks out against the expansion of the Rhodeve Commonwealth into Corentia, promising to counter it.

1992 - President of Sunrisia Nóv Fáustîtár conducts a peaceful self-coup, reinstating the constitution of the Republic of Sunrisia and succeeding the Democratic Republic of Sunrisia with the Provisional Republic of Sunrisia.

1992 - Relations between Sunrisia and the West worsen after Sunrisia decides to impose tariffs on Western imports and export less to the West itself, in order to lower the role of the West in Sunrisian trade and economy and lower trade and economic relations with Western countries. This was followed up with the cutting down of diplomatic staff between Sunrisia and Western countries, lowering the level of diplomatic relations.

1993 - Sunrisian Rebellion against the Provisional Republic of Sunrisia by Nationalists, Neo-Isolationists, Democratic Unionists and Theocrats, is won by Nationalists and Neo-Isolationists, who overthrow the short-lived Provisional Republic of Sunrisia. Uprisings by Democratic Unionists, Theocrats and pro-government forces are ended soon after.

1993 - Sunrisian Transition to Nationalism begins.

1994 - Sunrisia adopts a new constitution, introducing the next nationalist and more unitary incarnation of the Sunrisian state. Sunrisia reestablishes its' neutrality, non-alignment and closes itself off to the outside, becoming rather disengaged and indifferent in foreign relations than hostile. Retains the "humanitarian internationalism" foreign policy through needed aid to the rest of the world.

New Cold War

2010 - Sunrisia starts to showcase a stronger isolationist, anti-Western and anti-Eastern foreign policy, largely based on ideological differences and Sunrisia's own commitment to nationalism. Despite isolationism, Sunrisia remains paradoxically interventionist, basing it on Sunrisia's own ideology of neo-isolationism rather than traditional isolationism. Sunrisia cuts itself off from the world more, while staying engaged in international affairs.

2016 - Allied States of Belantica capitulates, succeeded by the Regency of Belantica lead by Karen Pearson during a period known as "The Boiling Summer"

2017 - Militia takes over control of most of the region of Wenigberg in Eastern Daredland by overthrowing local municipal authorities in the region's eastern territories and eventually advancing westwards, pushing out the autonomous government. Daredi armed forces are sent to stop the full takeover of Wenigberg and more of Daredi land by advancing militia. Daredi government accuses the Englean Kaiserreich of direct military assistance to the militia by having Englean troops without insignia covertly invade Daredland's Wenigberg region and assist the militia by fighting alongside them. The brief armed conflict ends with most of Wenigberg lost to the militia, except for a small western portion still controlled by Daredland. The territories of Wenigberg taken by the militia are repurposed into the self-proclaimed Weniges Reich, which declared independence from Daredland. The secession is not recognized by Daredland.

2017 - Regency of Belantica is reformed into a constitutional monarchy and officially renamed as the United Queendoms of Belantica, Karen Pearson is appointed as the fist monarch.

2018 - Local municipal governments in the majority of the region of Haspera in Western Daredland, in defiance to the autonomous government of the region and the central government of Daredland, proclaim the Hasperan Republic, which declared independence from Daredland. The secession is not recognized by Daredland, although no armed conflict escalates like in the situation in Wenigberg. The territories controlled by the self-proclaimed Hasperan Republic come under an unauthorized blockade and end up cut off from the world, with occasional humanitarian aid delivered there and refugees or migrants being given the right to leave.

2018 - Flaming Revolution in Daredland overthrows a pro-Englean government.

2018 - LDA builds the 50 millionth Lancet L-200, and titled as the "most influential road vehicle in history". it was painted in a special gold paint, and 50,000 examples were produced with this special paint as the "Golden Milestone Edition"

2019 - Sunrisia changes its' Nuclear Doctrine from “No First Use” to “Optional Preemptive Strike against a Direct Attacker or Invader of Sunrisia and/or Allies.”

2019 - First Vesvai War is fought by the Rhodeve-backed Dominion of Vesvai and Sunrisian-backed New Vesvai.

2019 - Adoption of a new constitution in August solidifies the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia as the modern incarnation of the Sunrisian state.

2019 - A political crisis in Sunrisia over the "Shadow Government Scandal" leads to the resignation of the President, dissolution of the Convet (legislature/parliament) and the murder of many Sunrisian politicians from past and present era. The government crisis results in the intelligence services and military elements switching from being a "deep state" to temporarily taking power in the country openly, until snap elections.

2019 - The armed forces of Sunrisia launch "Operation Solar Wind" against domestic militant groups - the pro-Republic New Sunrisian Republican Army (NSRA) and the joint pro-Monarchy and pro-Theocracy Sunrisian Theocrat and Monarchist Corps (STMC).

2019 - A naval skirmish breaks out between the navies of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia and the Englean Kaiserreich near Corentia.

2020 - A Sunrisian airstrike destroys an anti-missile system in Vesvai, supplied to it by Rhodevus. Sunrisia perceived the system as a threat to its' nuclear deterrent.

2020 - Rezuan-Sunrisian Confrontation begins as a slow-moving war made up of a series of various types of military clashes between Rezua and Sunrisia around the Western Hemisphere, starting out with a naval skirmish near Rezua‘s Isles of Soril.

2020 - Pamerava unilaterally secedes from Baggnagia, provoking a 5-day military conflict between Baggnagian armed forces and Pameravan separatists which ends with a ceasefire. Baggnagia "freezes" the conflict and refuses to recognize Pamerava, while revitalizing its' alliance with Sunrisia. Meanwhile, Pamerava focuses on Union of Ventismarian Nations and Strategic Ventismar Defence Council membership.

Future History

2050 - The VU becomes the Ventismarian Federation.
