On the night of the 1st of June, Blazkowicz and Crown Company were tasked with talking a part of the Otakul Highlands to allow the insertion of Allied armoured force the following day into the area. Attacking in the stroke of night, Blazkowicz hoped to give relief to Lucian Brigadier [[Tsukuyo Kushineda]]'s incoming armoured force. Kushineda herself had personally seen to oversee the operation's success. Successfully attacking the 1st outpost without any loss nor wounded, Blazkowicz and Crown Company moved on. However, the Quenminese were alerted of Crown Company's presence in the area. By the accounts of Crown Company's Free Quenminese Sergeant, Quách Ngọc Tuyết, the Quenminese attempted to pincer Crown Company with a light force ambushing their rear as they moved into a village to attack the 2nd outpost. Crown Company faced at least 8 tanks and 2 companies of Quenminese troops. Pinned down on both sides, the 50-men strong Crown Company was hopelessly pinned down and was slowly beginning to be flanked. However, Blazkowicz took upon himself the task to free his men out of the encirclement. Under the cover of darkness, Blazkowicz, armed with a Balambian KP31, PIAT, and 3 AT weapons, moved into the tree line to flank the lightly numbered ambush force and 3 tanks. The action resulted with Blazkowicz taking out 10 Quenminese soldiers, wounding 7, and destroying 3 tanks, which forced the southern flank to break off its attack and retreat from the scene. However, the Quenminese force near the outpost were dangerously getting close to Crown Company's position, hence Blazkowicz immediately ran to his comrade to restock on AT rounds and explosives. Blazkowicz would later see a tank charging towards the lines, further adding danger to nearly eliminating the entire company. Immediately, Blazkowicz went at pointblank range to engage the tank with his PIAT, destroying it but wounding himself in the process. Despite his wounds, Blazkowicz called in artillery strike on the Quenminese force before leading a charge to finally take the outpost and destroying 2 more tanks.
Later on, Blazkowicz was assigned by Brigadier Kushineda to eliminate a 3rd outpost preparing to retake the 2nd outpost. Wasting no time, Blazkowicz gathered half of Crown Company to attack the 3rd outpost. During this attack, Crown Company was nearly flanked again, but Blazkowicz using his knowledge of the terrain flanked around and gunned down the entire Quenminese flanking force without any concern for his own life. He disabled one last Quenminese tank before calling the entire company to charge. Seeing as to how the flanking force had failed, and coupled with more artillery strikes, the Quenminese were forced to retreat. The operation itself bore no loss to Crown Company but sustaining at least 10 wounded.
The actions of Major Blazkowicz that day had not only allowed Allied armour into the Otakul Highlands and securing a vital road critical to the entire operation, but also saving the entire lives of the very unit he commanded. With this, Blazkowicz, who had a complete disregard for his own safety, has been deemed worthy of receiving Erebonia's highest award.
