Kaoru Atsushi (27 June 1923) is a retired Rubrumian officer and military man who served during the Second Europan War and in the War of Lorican Aggression.
Known as "Shorty" by his squad mates, he is known of his height of 5'7 and a half and is one of the first Nihhonese members of the Special Air Service and he would also later go on to become one of the earliest senior members of the Rubrumian Special Air Service following the war. Despite his height, Atsushi became one of the most skilled operatives under the SAS and was prized for his handling of explosives. Following the war, he married fellow Crown Company member, Lisa Mirca.
He is the grandfather of Imperial Crisis veteran, Yon Atsushi.
