Leonard Hudson is a Zamastanian politician who serves as the Senator for Cayenne-2 in Congressional Hall. He is a member of the Green Liberal Party and served as President of the Senate in the 109th congress, which afforded him the third-most powerful government office after President and Speaker of the Chamber. First elected to the Senate in 1996, he has also served as the Mayor of Fougere, a Congressman for Cayenne's 5th district, and has chaired several committees.
Early life and education
Hudson was born in Fougere to Rio Palitoan parents. After his apprenticeship as a heavy-current electrician (1967–1969), he served two years in the Zamastanian Army as a reservist. Following his military service and a stint in the civil service as a nurse's helper, he studied mathematics, physics and philosophy and graduated from the University of Cayenne in 1974.

Personal life
Leonard Hudson met his wife Romane Hudson in 1975 shortly after he graduated from university, and the two married in the same year. They have 7 children together.
