	Equality and freedom of speech are both enshrined in the Gagian constitution. However, numerous laws and amendments passed by the Gagian parliament have prohibited discrimination on numerous fronts, most notably based on race, gender, religion, social standing/class, and disabilities. Furthermore, the judicial system in Gagium has consistently ruled against private enterprise's right to discriminate based off of arbitrary opinion. However, no cases of discrimination on the basis of education or pregnancy have resulted in a conclusive ruling outlawing the practices, and discrimination in the field of employment based off of criminal record is allowed, albeit restricted only in the cases of murder and rape.

	Freedom of speech and expression is upheld in the Furbish constitution, but discrimination and defamation are criminalized. Those found guilty of discrimination are charged with a misdemeanor, which usually results in a fine. All forms of discrimination are increasingly uncommon in modern times.
