The Gagian Ice Hockey League (GIHL; Gagian: Ligue Gagienne de Hockey sur Glace) is a professional ice hockey league of 20 teams in Gagium. The GIHL is the premier ice hockey league in Gagium and one of the largest and most profitable in Stratea. It is one of the four professional sports leagues based in Gagium, and the third most popular by total attendance (second by average attendance). The Grandis Cup is awarded to the winner of the league playoff champion at the end of each season. The GIHL operates on a promotion and relegation system within the Gagian ice hockey league system, where the bottom two teams are relegated to the Gagian Second Ice Hockey League.
