Euthanasia under all forms is illegal in Anikatia. Any person found to be assisting suicide is breaking the law and can be convicted of assisting suicide or attempting to do so. Palliative care however is legal as it is not considered to be euthanasia as it does not speed death but rather keeps the patient comfortable without compromising respiration or hastening death. Death results from the underlying medical condition.

Similar to fellow socially conservative nations such as Eagleland and Rodarion, euthanasia is prohibited categorically. Based on Torahic and Talmudic perspectives and laws on Jewish bioethics, euthanasia and similar procedures are illegal.

The Eagleland has some of the strictest laws in Pardes regarding euthanasia. Involuntary euthanasia is illegal and doctors are prohibited to execute patients via euthanatic methods, be it active or passive, otherwise they will be prosecuted for intentional murder under the Federal Penal Code, and if convicted will be punished accordingly. As suicide is strictly prohibited, with the exception of "valorous suicide" (i.e. suicide so as not to be held in captivity or to save someone else in times of war), the Eagleland public's opinion on suicide being "the coward's way out" non-inclusive, voluntary euthanasia is also prohibited.

All forms of euthanasia, save for involuntary, and assisted suicide are legal within Estovnia since the passing of the Right to Die Act (1971). Despite conservative parties returning to power in the 1978 election (and their subsequent control of parliament since then), the bill has not been able to be repealed and has further been solidified by numerous amendments by the holds and several court cases.

The Constitution guarantees the right of all citizens and residents to life; this has been interpreted as prohibiting euthanasia in all circumstances. Palliative care which does not aim to hasten or directly cause death is not considered to be euthanasia.

The Papal Republic operates a strict enforcement of law which prohibits euthanasia, based upon Catholic social teaching, since human life is sacred, since that life is given by God, and that human beings are made in God's image. Since human life is sacred, euthanasia is seen as judging a human life unworthwhile and no man or entity has the right to end the life of a innocent person, be they a child, man, woman or old, no matter what stage they are regarding a terminal illness. The Papal Republic operates a policy regarding euthanasia, which states "Death is a spiritual time in one's life, no man or authority should interupt a person's final steps in their journey towards God."

However the theocratic government allows for palliative care, as it is the duty of the community to offer the dying the best possible palliative care, as a result of this measure, Rodarion operates some of the most high quality palliative care facilities in Pardes, with many Hospices being used by people from across the region in their final months.
