The G1 Carbine (formally the Gallia-Bruhl Carbine, .30 Gallia, M1) is a lightweight semi-automatic carbine that was issued as a supplementary firearm for the Gallian Army during the Second Europan War and the War of Lorican Aggression. The G1 Carbine was produced in several variant and was widely used by various paramilitary and police forces around the world. Due to its cheap cost, it is one of the most popular civilian firearms following the two wars.
In 1941, Gallia Armoury introduced the G1 Mark II Carbine, which is the selective-fire version of the G1 Carbine. While its final mark, the G1 Mark III Carbine was a G1 Mark II with an infrared scope system.
The G1 Carbine continues to see service in several parts of the world. It is also considered by many firearm historians to be the early precursor of the Personal defense weapon.
