The Meallán Islands have long be barren of humans till around the 2nd century BC. When
By the 1390's a new people would arrive on the islands the Moriou Clan of present day Bro Wyned. They would bring with them there culture and langauge to which over time as invovlded to form a new culture and langange only seen on these islands.

Transport
The MI is the longest road on the islands serving the island of Oilean Laneu. The other two larger islands with human populations have smaller roads but there is no InterIsland highway system. The easest way to get from one island to another is by ferry.
Meallán Islands are also served by a number of small airports:

- Ó dheas Wich Regional Airport (4,723 passengers in 2018)
