Jay Abe Gaviria (born February 17th, 1986) is a Zamastanian politician, journalist, and filmmaker, the son of former-Senator Thomas Gaviria and the grandson of former-President of Zamastan Marvin Gaviria. Gaviria served in Congressional Hall as the representative for Zian province's 24th district from 2016 to 2022. He is a member of the Conservative Capitalist Party, continuing the progression of his family's domination of the political movement. On September 28th, 2021, Jay announced his candidacy for the 2022 Zamastan presidential election. Though he saw initial gains in polling, he quickly dropped to a distant fourth place as controversy surrounding personal conduct allegations and past comments plagued coverage of his campaign. Gaviria fell far behind on election day, dropping to fifth place and even losing his congressional seat to Christian Union candidate Brooklyn Wellington.
