The Second Battle of Paluri was a failed attempt by Laurillac Pact forces to take the city of Paluri as part of Operation Enduring Sunrise. Due to a lack of reinforcements from home following the onset of the Invasion of Gagium, Gagian positions in Senarwa continued to grow weaker and more reliant on Narulian support. Nevertheless, as withdrawal from Senarwa was not possible, Gagian leader Ulysse Cohen demanded that the Gagian army commit to renewed offensives against Senar positions to bring about a swift annexation of the nation folowing half a decade of conflict. This would result in General Corbin Linville ordering an offensive against Paluri, the largest city in Senarwa. Following several weeks of artillery and aerial bombardment, Gagian and Narulian forces advanced to the edge of Paluri on the 8th of October, meeting Senar forces including the 2nd Field Army and the elite Royal Husari Division.

Gagian and Narulian forces were soon deadlocked into a bloody battle with entrenched Senar forces, supported with Furbish and Niagaran equipment. On 22 December 1981, Gagian and Narulian forces committed to an attempt to break through Senar lines. This would culminate in the bloodiest day of the battle, where over 2,000 Senar soldiers and 3,000 Laurillac Pact soldiers are believed to have perished. The failed offensive reportedly caused General Linville to contemplate suicide. In the final week of the battle, Laurillac Pact forces were engaged in an attempt to encircle Paluri, forcing a prolonged seige in the hopes of starving Senar positions and bringing about a surrender. Plans to lay siege to the city as long as it would be necessary were presented to General Linville on 5 January, but were rejected. Just 2 days later, Gagian and Narulian forces retreated from the city, ending the Second Battle of Paluri. This would be the final major offensive of the war that Narulia would participate in, refusing to continue sending soldiers to die against a better-equipped enemy with Coalition support.
