2005 Garetolia Film Festival

The 2005 Garetolian Film Festival was the seventh showing of the Garetolian Film Festival. It was held from 19 December to 25 December in 2005. Like every other event of the type, it featured 13 films. The prize for Best Comedy was awarded to When Will You Love Me?, the prize for Best Action was awarded to Ule'eka, the prize for Best Horror was awarded to Young Blood, which also won Best Film. It was hosted by Isiah Hama.

A Villainous Deed	Drama film; With the threat of climate change encroaching on Garetolia, an executive plans to accelerate the process in order to put his rival company out of business.
A Weakened World	Science-fiction drama; In the future, the Reformed States of America and the seemingly all-powerful Swahili Union gather their allies on a mission to control the world, which is being ravaged by a virus from Southern Japan.
A Daniel Judgement	Comedy-drama; Daniel, a high school student, is obliged to help his friend's student body presidential campaign, though his lack of skill becomes apparent throughout the course of the film.
Deep Rinse	action drama; A scuba diver uncovers a secret underwater Nazi military base which prompts an investigation into the roots of the Nazi underwater program.
Ballistic	Alternative history film; Garetolia explores the possibility of a nuclear program to rival the United States and Russia.
Born A Champion	Drama film; The eldest son of a former boxing champion endures harsh training to become the next star.
Spaced Out	Comedy film; A dynamic couple, to simulate divorce, decide to spend a week away from each other in their separate ways, but chaos ensues as their paths keep crossing.
Paradise	Science-fiction drama; In the future, a seemingly perfect city-state is rattled when news of the outside world are brought to the attention of lawmakers and councilpeople.
