2003 Garetolia Film Festival

The 2003 Garetolian Film Festival was the fifth showing of the Garetolian Film Festival. It was held from 19 December 2003 to 25 December 2003. Like every other event of the type, it featured 13 films. The prize for Best Comedy was awarded to Hindrance, the prize for Best Action was awarded to Winded, the prize for Best Horror was awarded to The Policeman, and the prize for Best Film was given to Hindrance. It was hosted by Robert Heron.

Stroke of Misfortune Comedy-drama; The Prime Minister of Garetolia suffers a stroke and must relearn everything he knew after age 13.
The Curse of Lod'oka Horror-drama; The film follows the tale of the Curse of Lod'oka, an ancient Garetolian legend that warns of the spirit of Mak'ale'o, who is said to haunt the Lod'oka region.
Clean Shaven Drama film; The man with the world's longest beard realizes that he's being wanted by the police. In response, he shaves his excessively long beard and goes undercover.
Hindrance Comedy film; A man's attempts to blow off an important race snowball into a world of misfortune. Best Comedy

the problems Drama film; After a disaster within the royal family, a small island monarchy's family line is traced distantly to a crime boss living in Southern Italy.
Winded Action-drama; A man creates a device that can supposedly alter the direction and speed of the wind, however it is learned soon after that his device might be deadly. Best Action
My Brother Comedy-drama; An artist is kidnapped, but in order to hide his absence, his family enlists the help of the artist's brother to paint instead. However, with no knowledge of painting and no prior experience, the brother's lack of skills are apparent to the artist's family. Originally tied for Best Comedy, but lost after a vote by the GSAG.
Gluecose Comedy-drama; A man finds out he can accelerate the process of photosynthesis by adding a chemical commonly found in glue, however his invention may have made a turn for the worse.
Reinstated Historical drama; George Marion is reinstated as the Governor of the Dominion of Garetolia following his unpopular predecessor.
Margins Romantic drama; A woman's attempts to seduce a man fall apart after she realizes he might be gay.
Stripped Comedy film; A struggling cartoon artist realizes that his local newspaper has plans to remove Sunday comics, but he plans to stop the plan.
Election Day (2004 film) Historical drama; The film follows the story of the 1978 Garetolian general election, the first election in Garetolian history.
