The 2009 Garetolian Film Festival was the tenth showing of the Garetolian Film Festival. It was held from 19 December to 25 December in 2009. Unlike all other showings in the GFF chronology, it featured only seven films, partially due to the 2008 Garetolian Wildfire. The prize for Best Comedy was awarded to My Trip to [REDACTED], the prize for Best Action was awarded to Staria, the prize for Best Horror was awarded to Ru'enda, and My Trip to [REDACTED] was named the Best Film. It was hosted by John Prole.
