Erebus, officially the Erebus Federal District, is the eighth-most populous city and the capital city of the Antarctic Circle States. Located on A.C.S.'s Eastern Coast, Erebus is the Southern-most capital city in the world, only a few thousand kilometers away from the geographic South Pole. Residents of the city are known as "Erebusians". As of June 2022, Erebus's estimated metropolitan population was 361,000, meaning the city is home to approximately 3.26% of the nation's population. The city is often referred to by its nickname, the 'Ice Capital'.
