The Central Committee of State (Pasdani: فرمان صمیم شوری; Khomiteh-ye Sameem-e Dowlāt; Rahelian: مجلس قيادة الثورة; Al-Lajna Al-Markaziyya Lil-Dawlat) is the paramount decision making body in Zorasan and the apex of the executive branch, comprised of the most senior leaders of the National Renovation Front and the Zorasani Irfanic Revolutionary Army. The Central Committee is chaired by the State President (head of state and chairman of the NRF) and the First Marshal of the Union, the chief-of-staff of the military, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and commander-in-chief.
The Central Committee was established in 2005, following the Turfan, a socio-economic and political crisis that almost overthrew the one-party state. The task of the Central Committee is to "determine and establish the general policy directions of the government, primarily foreign policy, internal security, defence and other matters of importance." The Central Committee over time has come to determine the directions of all government policy is widely considered the final authority for day-to-day governance.
