Esera Airways Limited (EAL), also known as Esera Airways or Esera is the flag carrier of Hytekia. Its main office and headquarters are located in the city of Krasno, the capital of Hytekia. The airline and its low-cost subsidiary, Hytek Airways, provide flights to over 250 destinations in over 30 countries, making them one of the more global airlines operating out of Alemannia. Esera operates a modern fleet, often consisting of wide-bodied and double-decker aircraft for long-haul and stopover flights. Its sole and wholly-owned subsidiary Hytek Airways operates low-cost flights to 31 destinations in Alemannia and northern Asura. In 2018, Esera and Hytek Airways carried over 20 million passengers throughout the year.
The airline was founded on January 16, 1991, after the owner of the previous Hytekojuznik flag carrier (now rebranded as Air Juznia) defected to Juznia following the Hytekojuznik Civil War in 1989, it commenced operations on April 7 with its first flight from Krasno to Balvi, a small city in eastern Hytekia. Its first international flight ran from Krasno International to Tolvas, Veleaz in 1992, and took 147 minutes. Since then, Ezera has grown to one of the largest airlines in Asura. Ezera also landed the first flight in the renovated Krasno International in 2015, originating from Oralienborg, Aleia. In terms of market capital, and stock, Esera is one of the world's largest airlines, both in passenger and cargo transit, and is the largest airline with a hub in Krasno International, and has a lounge in the airport. It is a founding member of the Alemannair airline alliance, of which both it and Hytek Airways are members.
