The C21, or the Collective of Twenty-One, is an intergovernmental forum comprising 21 countries. It works to address major issues related to the global economy, such as international financial stability, climate change mitigation, and sustainable development.
The C21 is composed of most of the world's largest economies, including both industrialized and developing nations.
The C21 was formed on February 1st, 1995, one month after the founding of the Coalition Trade Organization, as a way to monitor and stabilize global financial systems.
