  1. The Alannan Civil War of 1944-1948 would begin in 1944, effectively having Alanna exit the war. For the rest of the war, some Alannan port cities and islands would be occupied but otherwise Alannan troops became preocuppied with the civil war at home.

The Second Great War, often abbreviated as GWII or 2GW, was a global war that lasted from 1939 to 1946, involving countries from all continents except Lohicamia. The war involved all of the world's major powers.

The Treaties of Boston which ended First Great War would become the causes of the Second Great War. The León Monarchy was split up into 22 countries which began a series of conflicts against each other, which were marked by ethnic cleansing campaigns and foreign interventions meant to stop them. Dissatisfied with their heavy penalties, Inglaterra, Pätschlàn, and Seocheon were taken over by communist governments in 1936, 1932, and 193X respectively. Gryva was even more strongly opposed to the treaties, as they were forced to pay a heavy settlement despite the allied invasion of them failing. In 1931, the fascist Revanchist Party took over Gryva, and in 1936 they formed the Yedinburg Pact with 7 countries including Alanna, Inglaterra, Pätschlàn, and Seocheon, with the goal of reclaiming land they lost from the Boston Treaties. The Second Coalition was formed several months later between Alaoyi, Fluvannia, Gagium, Greater Niagara, Hrvada, and The Furbish Islands.

After a series of blatant violations of the Boston Treaties that were ignored by the Second Coalition, the XXX Pact made a joint declaration of war against the Second Coalition on 15 March 1939. With support from Alanna, Inglaterra invaded the Niagaran colonies of Zarare and the Antarctic Circle State, beginning the Frigo Front, and Alaoyi, beginning the bloody Galian Front. At the same time, Gryva attacked Hrvada and Greater Niagara through neutral XXX. In Stratea, Pätschlàn invaded Gagium and were joined by XXX and XXX, while Coalition forces were joined by XXX and XXX. In all fronts, new tactics were employed that allowed Yedinburg Pact forces to gain land rapidly. Within a month, several countries fell to Yedinburg Pact forces, including XXX and XXX, and rapid advances continued throughout the summer and autumn.

In the Stratean front, Yedinburg Pact forces except for Pätschlàn were plagued by incompetent leadership, which resulted in their advances being halted by summer 1938. The harsh geography in Frigo and Galia also resulted in Inglaterran advances being halted around the same time. Gryva continued to advance into Greater Niagara, however by winter 1938 it was stopped just short of outside XXX. A naval blockade was imposed in Gryva and naval supremacy would remain uncontested during the war, however Gryvan submarines wreaked havoc on shipping in the Depian and Tenific Oceans and Mogus Sea.

The next five years saw a stalemate, though the war was much more mobile than the First Great War. Some cities changed hands five or six times during the war. By 1944 Coalition forces made progress in Stratea, liberating most of the former León Monarchy, though Pätschlàn managed to fight off invasions of their territory. Soldiers from Stratea were freed to fight in other fronts, and soon mounting pressure forced Gryvan and Inglaterran soldiers back on their respective fronts. Though Gryva was able to establish a defensive line in the XXX mountains, the capitulation of Inglaterra and pressure on Pätschlàn's borders forced the Yedinburg Pact to surrender in 5 January 1946.

The Second Great War resulted in the change of the world order. The economies of Fluvannia, Gagium, and The Furbish Islands emerged stronger, while the devastation in Greater Niagara led to slow decolonization over the next four decades and Fluvan replacing Niagaran as the world language.
