The RG LAK or LAK (Erebonian: Leichter Automatischer Karabiner English: Light Automatic Carbine) is an Erebonian Assault rifle produced by Rainford Group. It was introduced in 1989 as a replacement for the RG LAG and is widely used by Special Forces.
The RG LAK was the result of the Royal Erebonian Army needing a new weapon to field since the Steyrheim UAG proved to be unsatisfactory for certain battle conditions as experienced by the Erebonian Special Air Service. The RG LAK was designed as a modern rifle rather than a variant of the RG LAG. The RG LAK proved to be satisfactory in harsh conditions and the UAG was replaced by the RG LAK.
