The Kjedorate Party (Seketese: Kjedéreça ynden), officially the Seketese Liberty Party[1] (Seketese: Secéteça libérté ynden), was a Seketese nationalist political party that governed Seketan as the dominant party from 1914 to 1978. It supported the Kjedorate regime ruled principally by Loren Allis and later Etyjen Pesan.
Fueled by the Seketese national awakening and the desire for Seketan to become independent from the Nelbec Empire, Dann Kjedor founded the party in 1904 and promoted ideas of Seketese nationalism and republicanism. After his death in 1913, Loren Allis became the party leader and gained a majority government in the Hervynsken after the 1914 election in Seketan. After the outbreak of the Nelborne Front of World War I, the party halted its efforts for independence until 1918 when the Nelbec Empire became radically destabilized due to its disastrous war efforts. The Kjedorate Party voted to declare Seketan independent in 1918 and led its paramilitary wing to fight in the Seketese War of Independence.
In 1919, the Sosymets established control of Seketan and founded the Sosymet Republic. The Kjedorate Party relocated to the newly established Wilsk Republic and regained control of Seketan in 1924 after winning the Seketese Civil War, with Loren Allis becoming president of Seketan. The Second Seketese Republic operated as a full democracy until the Great Depression where Loren Allis established himself as an autocrat. He stepped down as president in 1937 and his successor Cjamen Dalyn surrendered immediately in wake of a German invasion in 1939.
During World War II, the party relocated to the United Kingdom temporarily and unanimously voted Loren Allis as party leader again. The party in exile led the Seketese resistance and reestablished rule in Seketan in 1945. Loren Allis became president and ruled until 1960 until he was succeeded by his prime minister Etyjen Pesan, whom held both positions until 1978. Pesan's leadership of the party polarized its members due to his anti-regionalist sentiments. By 1978, the majority of Kjedorate Party members defected to the Democrats or Socialist Party. Pesan was overthrown in 1978 in the culminating of the Zemasy period. After the 1978 constitutional referendum, the party was dissolved and its symbols stripped from Seketese national flags and imagery. The party was later succeeded by the current National Conservative Party. Despite this, Kjedoratism is not an offensive ideology in modern Seketan and its banning is contemporarily remembered as an action taken to end Etyjen Pesan's dictatorship.
The ideology of the Kjedorate Party is known as Kjedoratism. The party mostly supported Seketese pan-nationalism, anti-communism, and conservatism. Factions of the Kjedorate Party have supported Wilsk regionalism, anti-Fjeskan and Wilsk regionalism, and anti-democracy. The party was affiliated with the Wilsk Kjedorate Party which represented itself in the Irvanysky in Wilskland.
Name
The Kjedorate Party throughout its existence has always been officially known as the Seketese Liberty Party. During its early years under the leadership of Dann Kjedor, the party was viewed as a possession of Kjedorfor the purpose of spreading his manifesto New Seketan and Seketese nationalist ideologies. After his death in 1913 and accession of Loren Allis as party leader, Allis upheld a cult of personality of Kjedor and named Kjedoratism as the party ideology. Ever since, even in many official situations, the party has been referred to as the Kjedorate Party.
History
The Kjedorate Party has its origins in the Seketese national awakening in the 19th century. Anti-Nelbec unity and Alquiyan sentiment became popular among nationalist factions within Seketan during the late 1800s.

Notes
- 1.^ When the party was founded in 1904, it was registered as the Seketese Liberty Party, but the party was referred to as the Kjedorate Party as early as 1912 shortly before Dann Kjedor's death. By 1930, the party was seldom referred to by its official name. After 1945, the term Kjedorate Party increased in official usage.
