2007 Garetolia Film Festival

The 2007 Garetolian Film Festival was the ninth showing of the Garetolian Film Festival. It was held from 19 December to 25 December in 2007. As with every other Garetolian film festival, it featured 13 films, however three of the featured films were American films. The prize for Best Comedy was awarded to The Simpsons Movie, the prize for Best Action was awarded to Restart, the prize for Best Horror was awarded to The Sailor, and Restart was named the Best Film. It was hosted by Popo Kalaka.

Homegrown	Drama film; A young woman returns to her small hometown after graduating college. She soon realizes, with her new education, that the town is not all that it seems.
Variables	Drama film; A brilliant mathematician with a drug addiction must face his challenges head-on as the school he works at is threatened by closure as its falling membership approaches the Garetolia university minimum.
Red Wire	Comedy-drama; A neurotic inventor teams up with an eccentric scientist to create a device that can decode and control people's thoughts, but his device proves to be dangerous when the government finds out.
Summit	Historical drama; A man battling stage III cancer decides to climb Mount Peplua as his last wish before he dies.
The Simpsons Movie	Comedy film; The film follows the Simpsons family and their plan to save Springfield from annihilation.	Best Comedy
