Mugen, or commonly known by his alias as Takamune Yūma (高尊勇真) or Go Kang-jin (고강진), is an awakened human-hybrid male from Earth, and the founder of Orientia. He was formerly the President of Orientia, and currently holds the title as the elder of Argos, the guildmaster of Reaper Guild and CEO of Magnus. Born in a Southeast Asian country of Old Asia, Mugen is the second most powerful awakened in the Realms of the Multiverse, having awakened his own ability at a young age and was one of a prodigy in controlling Qi to some certain extent where he was able to combat well-trained soldiers and small militias. Later in life, he was contacted by the Hurites and brought New Eden for training and experiment.

Personal Life

Early Life

Mugen (real name unknown) was born on 27 August, in a tropical Southeast Asian country ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, the first child of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇, a ▇▇▇▇▇▇ born government official, and ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. He lived in Japan for a while, but later came back to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, where he grew up with his younger sibling in the neighborhood of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, in the city of ▇▇▇▇▇▇. His alias "Yūma" is a name given by his teacher in Japan, while his surname "Takamune" was chosen by himself when he worked in Japan.

Teenage Years

Mugen's teenage life was mostly unknown, as it was either not recorded, or destroyed during The Great War. Researchers were also unable to obtain information as any interview attempts regarding the topic has been abruptly ended, or deliberately avoided by Mugen himself. Recent archival findings claimed he obtained red belt in Taekwondo during school years and was trained in Pencak Silat when he was 10.

Mugen awakened his first ability in high school where he was shocked by electricity while he tried to repair a faulty cable line for a projector. His ability was triggered by this very event, where a few days later he'd accidentally cause a power outage in school, which, fortunately, only Tianshi noticed. After his awakening, his sole focus was only to train his own power until he was able to fully control and understand it. In high school, he was approached by Tianshi, who was an awakener as well, to form Urban Jungle, a vigilante-animal-themed superhero team, and took the name Manux. During his university years, he left Urban Jungle to focus on his own growth, where he often trained near electrical sub-stations. He finally mastered his own ability right before his graduation.

Adult Years

Mugen initially worked as as a programmer in various companies, until in 2030, he left the job and decided to reside in Japan for the rest of his life. Later, he found his own tech company Magnus, where he, along with his friends developed a meta universe called "Mir" along with the device "Periscope One", a full-immersion virtual reality device to access it. Both the device and the metaverse raked popularity, until it was later acquisitioned by BYOND, a well-known American company that runs one of the most popular social media, Stargram. He'd later join Golden Circle (later Argos) under the alias "Kenneth Everett".

New Eden Contact

In 2037, approximately a year after The Great Calamity in New Eden, the Hurites, known as the descendant of Seth who went to other star system, were bound on a mission to find suitable candidate across the universe to use the Heavenly stone, a stone that was believed to be descended from heaven. A tiny part of the stone itself also exist on Earth, known by humans as Hajar Aswad. Mugen was proved to be a suitable candidate, and was brought to New Eden.

During his years in New Eden, Mugen went through rigorous training to withstand the power of the stone. Years later, Mugen finally implanted the stone on his chest, and his body was obliterated by the power of the stone after a few minutes of resistance. Although seem dead, Mugen was rather alive in electromagnetic form. He slowly reassembled his physical body through a series of partial bodily reappearances: first as a disembodied nervous system, including the brain and eyes; then as a circulatory system; then a screaming partially muscled skeleton. Each time, the appearance only lasts for a few seconds.

And finally, by 2039 (of Earth time), Mugen assembled his full body, and was seen shirtless, while glowing in a gold hue, levitating on top of Nefesh hill near the town of Arut, New Eden. It is not known if his clothes were destroyed due to the stone's power, or just because he was unable to assemble a clothing. The stone granted him power near the level of Celestials, granting him control over space, reality, time, energy, and soul. Despite the powerful capabilities, he had to maintain a stable emotion and extort tremendous amount of strength and Qi to use all power of the stone at the same time. He was sent back to earth a few months before the Third World War. When Tianshi was killed by the Devil, he was in charge of the human-awakener faction and successfully weakened the Devil temporarily. After Tianshi's resurrection, they both fought together and finally liberated the Earth by 2040.

Ruling Years

After Amenria's independence, there was a political conflict between Mugen and Tianshi, where Tianshi was on monarchist faction and Mugen was on republican faction. The political conflict ceased for a while, but Mugen was growing the seeds of rebellion throughout Amenria, by gathering awakeners and founded the rebel organization Rising Dawn. The rebellion reached its peak in March 11, 2043 where the rebels stormed the capital. The day was marked as the beginning of War of the Dusk and Dawn.

Mugen fought Tianshi in his palace, resulting in the destruction of the entire land of Central Chinese plains. The fight lasted for a month, until they finally reached a ceasefire and agreement in April 2043. Mugen decided to found a nation, fully separated from the theocratic empire of Amenria. As soon as the war ended and Orientia gained independence, Rising Dawn members, along with Mugen, took control of the newly-made government and changed the name of the group to Argos. Mugen stepped up as a president for the newlyfound nation, but he later stepped down in 2047, giving his presidency seat to Yoo Jong-hyun (also known as "Sword Saint"). He remained his position as the elder of Argos and as the guildmaster of Reaper Guild.

Family

In 2026, Mugen married a former Japanese singer, Nakamura Kaede. They have two children, Takamune Yūto (born 2027) and Takamune Tsuki (born 2029). Later in 2030, he married a former Korean singer and actor, Choi Hye-rin.

Religion

Mugen was born into a muslim family, and throughout his life, he went to religious school, prominently ▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ primary school and ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ high school. Many scholars claimed he's a sunni muslim, and a follower of Shafi'i school. Although, he himself clarified that he is "just a muslim", not specifying his denomination.

Powers

Heaven's stone

Heaven stone is an immensely powerful gem-like objects tied to different aspects of the universe, created by God. The stone itself was originally a single, dark-coloured stone, but was shattered at some point in the past (most likely after Adam's banishment to Earth). One of them was used as a way to channel energy from Earth to the Heavens, until in 2038, Hurites finally took all the fragments of the stone and fuse it together, and implanted the stone on Mugen's body. Only beings of immense power can directly wield the Stones, such as Celestials, and the metahuman-hybrid Mugen. Lesser beings would face dire consequences, as the stone requires a tremendous amount of life force, strength and Qi, including a stable , balanced emotional spectrum at the same time.

Energy Manipulation

From one of the ability of the stone, Mugen has acquired limited control over the destructive force of the universe. Due to his strong understanding and familiarity with the Stone's powers, he was capable of manipulating the Stone's destructive energy for a wide plethora of versatile and dangerous capabilities, with the Stone becoming among his most versatile and often-used in combat methods for its destructive potential.

• Energy Projection

Mugen can directly concentrate the Stone's energy into destructively powerful beams easily strong enough to cleave through rocks, and even planets. He was also able to unleash the energy wildly as a shockwave of energy that was easily potent enough to knock out the Devil instantaneously despite his great superhuman resilience and displays being able to focus the energy into repulsive waves. Mugen also was able to use it as a powerful form of defense by conjuring a very strong force field of energy that was decently powerful enough to block Tianshi's attacks.

• Teleport

The stone gave Mugen an ability to effortlessly teleport him to any place in the universe that he can remember. In addition to teleportation, Mugen could also use it to send attacks from other places, as he did to transport the pieces of a chunk of Mars that he crushed to use them against Tianshi.

Spatial Manipulation

The stone gave Mugen an ability to manipulate, control, distort, and bend space, the dimensions of height, depth, and width within which all things exist and move.

• Vortex Generation

Mugen can create powerful and devastating singularities capable of compressing and sucking anything in their path.

• Spatial Pressure Generation

Mugen is able to expertly use the Stone to warp the fabric of space to generate powerful spatial pressure around his surroundings, capable of crushing, pulling, and freezing with tremendous force in a manner akin to telekinesis, enabled him to manipulate and move objects.

• Phasing

Mugen is even capable of using the Stone to phase and unphased objects out of space, rendering them incorporeal and just as easily make them corporeal again.

• Force-field generation

Mugen could manipulate the Stone's energy to conjure an extremely strong force-field as a mean of defense.

Reality Manipulation

Mugen can change reality to achieve a variety of different results. He can rearrange the very structure of reality to suit his desire, including anything from matter and energy due to their interconnectivity with the layers of reality, potent cosmos, psychic powers, space-time continuum, overwhelming emotions, dreams, imagination, and fundamental forces.

The stone also gave Mugen the power to create highly elaborate physical simulations and illusions of false realities and transmute matters.

• Illusion Manipulation

Mugen could use the Stone to alter reality to create highly realistic and elaborate physical simulations and illusions of false realities over a wide range of influence temporarily.

• Transmutation

The stone also allows Mugen to transmute and warp matter to anything he wants. This allows him to effortlessly transform weapons into harmless substances, or transmute surrounding materials to use it as a weapon.

Time Manipulation

Mugen acquired limited control over time, which allowed him to control time itself by chanting "The World".

Mugen is capable of rewinding time to recreate certain events with a surpassing amount of finesse, enough to truly recreate destroyed objects (except divine or heavenly objects).

Electromagnetic Manipulation

Mugen is able to manipulate electromagnetism: one of the four fundamental forces in the physical universe responsible for numerous phenomenon cases, notably those affiliated with electricity and magnetism. Electromagnetism is responsible for electromagetic fields (an area of space comprised of electric and magnetic fields), the propagation of electromagnetic radiation or the electromagnetic spectrum, such as visible light, infrared, ultraviolet, microwaves, and radio waves. He was originally able to control only electricity, but later, he had a second awakening which expanded his ability to magnetism as well.

Technological Manipulation

By manipulating electromagnetism, Mugen has the ability to perceive, receive, transmit and interface with technological objects like electronic machinery, signals and hardware, as well as communicate with computerized informational data, and manipulate all kinds of technology. Rendering him capable of creating or manipulating technology, the sum of techniques, skills, methods, and processes used in the production of goods or services or in the accomplishment of objectives.

Superhuman Physiology

Mugen has a superior status in mind, body, superpowers, and incredible feats that make him greater than that of the strongest awakened human. This physiology was gained from his training in New Eden.

Mugen is naturally born with the capability that can rival the wolves being capable of using their sense of smell to attain blindsight as well as illusions awareness, and good tracking abilities, as well as lie detection through chemical that are released, and pregnancy perception because of pheromones and shapeshifting awareness through particular type of smell of a person and also empathy because of pheromones.

As a programmer, Mugen has went through training and is an expert at computers and everything connected to them, including hacking, coding, programming, fixing bugs/viruses, cracking passwords, etc.

Sensory Overload

Being naturally born with the capability of enhanced smelling, this heightened ability often gives Mugen an olfactory overload where he'd easily struggle with breathing. As a result, Mugen often wears a mask to prevent this, especially when fighting.
