List of Political Parties in Gagium

Gagium has a multi-party political system in which the number of successful political parties is large enough as to effectively limit the exercise of power to parties willing to engage in electoral alliances and/or coalition agreements. The largest political parties in Gagium are sufficiently factionalized in themselves, with the Rally for Social Democracy and Gagian Liberties Party both unifying those on varying degrees of the left and right. These two political parties are generally considered to be the "dominating" parties, each being the largest parties to form coalitions in the government. Two stable coalitions have existed in recent times; one formed by the Rally with the Green Realist Party, People's Labor Party, and often the Communist Party; and the other formed by the Gagian Liberties Party featuring the Liberal Democratic Party.
