Views
Often considered to be on the more moderate wing of the NKP Däubler self-identifies as a Sotirian democrat and a conservative. Since entering government Däubler has been perceived to have moved to the right on several policies particularly migration and opposition to the gutmensch left.
Social policy
Däubler opposed the legalisation of same sex marriage in 2013. In 2012 she proposed removing inequalities between heterosexual and homosexual couples giving people in civil partnerships the same taxation status as a compromise. Däubler claimed that by "changing the definition of marriage" the law could in the future be amended to allow "polygamy or incest". In 2020 confirmed that she sees same sex marriage as a settled issue and does not wish to amend it.
Däubler has criticised federal abortion laws and advocates their abolition, stating it should instead be a state issue. She opposes stem cell research.
Self-identifying as a feminist Däubler favours improvements to maternity leave and tougher sentencing on perpetrators of domestic abuse and rape. She has moved to introduce gender quotas in the NKP having stated the party needs to better represent female voices.
On immigration policy Däubler favours a restrictive approach calling for a ceiling on non-EC migration. In an interview in 2022 Däubler stated immigrants should be required to "speak Weranian or Ruttish if living in the free state, affirm their commitment to secular values and have sufficient resources before they can choose Werania as their home". She also advocates denying immigrants access to welfare until they live in Werania for four years.
Economic policy
Considered an economic liberal Däubler supports making Werania a "low tax, low regulation agile economy able to compete internationally". She supports liberalising employment law to break the "restrictive" power of trade unions. Däubler has advocated for the introduction of casual labour contracts that have no guaranteed minimum hours, place no obligation on the employer to provide work and pay can be pro rated in line with hours worked in order to further and deepen labour market flexibility.
Within the NKP Däubler supports a balanced budget amendment over a flat tax. She also supports raising the pension age rather then increase pension payments in order to maintain the solvency of the system.
Environmental policy
Däubler is an environmentalist and has stated that Werania "has to be at the forefront" of carbon emissions reduction. She supports an expansion of nuclear power in Werania to reduce total emissions and has criticised renewables as being too costly. Däubler supported the Tuaisceart-Süd 2.0 oil pipeline with Caldia calling it a "green project". Däubler advocates market-based solutions such as an Euclea-wide emissions trading scheme to reduce climate change.
Foreign policy
Däubler is considered to be an advocate of the Euclean Community supporting greater Euclean integration on security and energy policy. Däubler has called for the EC to maintain a unified posture regarding the Tsabaran Civil War and to have a "comprehensive security strategy" towards the Aurean Straits. She supports EC expansion to counter Kirenian influence.
Däubler supports deepening commercial relations with Shangea and Soravia despite their poor human rights record calling both "vital to the Weranian economy". She believes in wandel durch handel (change through trade) believing that economic liberalisation and marketisation encourages democratisation.
