Dani Hawthorn (born 17 May 1960) is a Zamastanian politician who served as the 79th Speaker of the Chamber in Congressional Hall from 2000-04. She served as the representative for Alenchon-17 from 1986 until her resignation in 2010. She was the third woman to hold Speakership, after Amella Gavin (1962-64) and Shauna Lultquist (1994-96). A member of the Green Liberal Party, Hawthorn was a leading figure in her party during her career in office, and has long been an advocate for gender equality and criminal justice reform. Hawthorn's legislative achievements with President Camren Ellison were often overshadowed by the Second War in Vulkaria.
