Enri Ko'lealea Puagapua Tale'va (born 15 May 1955) is a Jashnagari politician who has served as the Prime Minister of Jashnagar since July 1st 2019.

Tale'va first rose to national prominence when he was elected to the Sa'pua provincial legislature in 1993 following and during the last years of a notable naval career. Running on the Kali Yam'gonra Sevratana ticket, Tale'va achieved victory over his opponent incumbent Antoine Yakara, where he would go on to rerun and achieve election in 1996. Following a period of resignation from politics, Tale'va ran and was elected as a Council of Warriors representative for Namoa. In 2019, Tale'va was elected as Prime Minister of Jashnagar following another period of retirement. In the 2019 election, Tale'va carried the Kali dominated Council of Warriors, as well as votes from members in several Jai aligned parties in the Council of Elders, allowing his victory over his Pamomori opponent Rash Voko.

Tale'va has advocated for a policy in-line with his party affiliations throughout his political offices. He is known for legislation increasing military wages, expanding the defense budget, stricter anti-piracy measures, restoration of infrastructure, and his "clean city" campaign that promoted the repair and clean-up of Jashnagari cities as well as the natural environment around them.

Early Life

Enri Tale'va was born in Sefutu village, Namoa in 1955 to Ea'lo Tale'va, the Loa of the Tale'va extended clan and Laekae, Ea'lo's second wife. He was the the eldest of two children and the only son. Tale'va has described his childhood as one spent in "relative" poverty. His father enjoyed high social prestige, but possessed very little wealth, where as his uncle, who was a business man in Sa'pua, had amassed a small fortune. Despite his family's low economic status, Tale'va enjoyed a idyllic childhood in Sefutu, where he described living a "pure Pa'ea" life. When he became a young teenager, Tale'va moved to Sa'pua to stay with his uncle. He would graduate from Sa'pua Seaside Highschool and then go on to attend Lanu Island College on the island of O'kahle where he earned an associates in Lorian linguistics.

With financial help from his uncle and several scholarship programs, Tale'va was able to attend Cuvier College in Mèronie, where he earned a Diplôme in Law with average academic performance. Graduating, Tale'va returned to Jashnagar where he spent a brief period as a lawyer.

Military Career

Tale'va became dissatisfied with his life as a lawyer and enlisted into the Jashnagari Navy in 1980 with an accepted application towards commission as a Lieutenant and was placed aboard the coast defense cruiser JNS Moafelelei. Three years later, Enri would marry his wife, Annabelle, a fellow lawyer from Sa'pua that he had known since adolescence and a clan cousin.
