Although the Sacred Land of Hiblund had been comfortably held its eastern territory for centuries, one social decision from the Hiblundiiun government had sent controversy throughout the land. This was to make the language of Hiblundiiun, which was already used by natives near the southern border, the official language and compulsory to learn, instead of Sedel. The real controversy was how the west had already made Hiblundiiun as a secondary language, being bilingually spoken by almost all of the western population. Unfortunately for the east, their public education is lacking for many different reasons, and would be extremely out of the blue for a change like this. Even though there was a year for this change to go in full force, many easterners were unhappy, and respectively so. The change was made because, as previously mentioned Hiblundiiun is spoken by a lot of the natives and is a sign of respect for them. Of course, that cannot be the only reason, as Hiblundiiun is actually easier to learn for foreigners, and it also bans the letter "g", which is deeply disrespected by those of the "h" religion, as it is replaces by a Latin gamma, "ɣ". The east had completely no tolerance for this law, and immediately wanted a peaceful but abrupt independence. After months of negotiating and debating, Hiblund had finally given up on the argument and gave the eastern territory, now named Frarstizk, its full independence on July 18th, 1946. Although the law was not carried over to the new nation of Frarstizk, the influence has not left with many Frarstizkians learning Hiblundiiun anyways.

Hiblundiiun Prespective

The H Religion had been in play for decades in the formerly north-central potion of Hiblund, primarily just southwest of the major city Suzell. It was usually just thought of as a silly mentally ill group of people, as it did originally start as a club for the mentally struggled. However, it eventually grew to power as it acted like a sort of cult, and brought in more and more struggling individuals and sometimes even families who were struggling physically, mentally, or phsycologically. Every one of these people had claimed to find no purpose in life and just were wanting something to live for and to be known for. Eventually they decided what they wanted- to completely change Hiblund's way of speaking and to implement a native Hiblundiiun language, following the lore of H supremacy and G discrimination.

As for political oversight before the push for a language change, the Hiblundiiun government had let this go completely under the radar, after all, religious freedom is one of the greatest civil liberties in the land. Almost all of the police officials and government officials had no idea that this religion/cult had any intention of rising up against the government, all but two police officials, that is. These two were Officer Harlen and Officer Feldspeire, who you can read about later on.

Without any warning, the people of the H Religion began to demand followers on media coverage and via protests on the day February 26th, 1946. These called for those who were like them, who didn't have anything else to live for, and to join them in their protests. People were either strongly for or strongly against this completely uncalled for movement, and there isn't a lot of explanation needed for understanding of this. They began to spike thouroughly in followers, and was quickly considered a threat to the core of the Hiblundiiun government. Everyone knew this and instantly began thinking of the consequences if these protests continued, and knew if there was anything to be done, it would have to be done soon.

The government, frozen in movement for what to do next, reviewed back to the guaranteed rights to the Hiblundiiun people. Nevertheless, they recalled that the number one priority was religious freedom, and the fact that there was no opponent to the H religion; which if so may be an infringement of rights if they did get their way, the language alone could be classified as a oppression to this religion. Also, the changing of a language was nowhere near to a violation of laws, so the aforementioned right would not be easily overruled.

Now, this almost ancient Hiblundiiun language is almost disregarded in the eastern region of the land, yet the west had adopted it as a very common secondary language which was spoken fluently by 85% of the region, compared to the east's 20%. There are two main reasons for this harsh change in statistics. For one, Hiblundiiun was natively spoken in the southwestern region from very early on in time. Secondly, the education in eastern Hiblund was extremely lacking and did not account for much teaching of the language as a whole.

The government realized that with the eastern portion's education lacking and the sheer power of the H Religion they had two choices; A) Don't let the H Religion get any Government power and be an infringement of the highest standard of Hiblund as well as political discrimination, meanwhile having to attempt to settle a civil conflict for possibly decades or B) Let them get their one wish and possibly make the eastern region very angry and possibly even cesede. You can probably guess which one they picked. Hiblund gave a one-year warning before a law was passed that Hiblundiiun a mandatory option for businesses and schools alike.

The eastern side protested in an angerly fashion, as predicted, and the Hiblundiiun government did their best to try and give them proper training in the language. The east refused to take these lessons, and promptly argued that the government was attempting to put control over their people so that they had more power and people looking up to them in times of stress. Although this may have been the intent of the more malicious of Hiblundiiun politicians, this was not believed in the slightest by the more honest of these. Soon enough, the cavers to the H religion made the containmanship of the eastern territory a lost cause and gave it its independence, then renamed Frarstizk.

Frarstizkian Prespective

Like the Hiblundiiun government at the time, the Eastern Territory was very alarmed when the small H religion began to seek power in the west. They feared the H religion/cult would convince the government to change the language to something new, which the Eastern Territory simply could not deal with. The Eastern Territory was not as funded by the Hiblundiiun taxes as the schools in the west and with a language change coming out of the blue, the east knew they would need to take action.

Most Easterners drew a blank when they first thought of how they could get the Hiblund government to notice them. They needed a way to show the government they would not comply with a language change. Quickly, they turned to violent protesting. Most of the earliest protests by the east were lead by a Hiblundiiun Small Business Owner, Jusvaii Telvas. Telvas organized and mapped all of the protests. Telvas also decided that the main motto the east would go by is "We Speak By Choice" or more commonly yet, "Tro Havlesk Rozaii". Telvas first protest were not very successful for several reasons. For instance, the motto "We Speak By Choice" was not very helpful for them, and often, the Hiblundiiuns in the area would shout back something similar to, "And you will comply by force".
