Kawanakan Football League is an Ajerri professional league for men's association football clubs in Aeia. The league is Ajerrin's primary domestic football competition, located at the top of the nation's football league system. The league was formed in July 13th 1918 during the first Ajerrin Confederation, stopping play in 1941 and during the Maikaʻi War from late 1997 to 2006. Originally formed as a League of 10, the KFL experienced four expansions, the first in 1943 adding four teams, two in 1966 and the remaining four in 2017. The league operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the bottom three teams each season being relegated to KFL Series B.

According to the FFA's league Vice-President, the Kawanakan Football League is making its presence known in Aeia. The KFL boasts many members from the National Sharks Team, where they placed 4th in the Copa d'Aeia 2017. The league is now considered a hub for growth and development for new athletes, sending players to the Navack national football team and other international teams.
