This article lists political parties in Syara.

The Parliament of the Commonality of Syara, the High Council of Syara, is a bicameral legislative body system consisting of two houses; the lower National Assembly and the upper Federal Council. The High Council dominated by two major parties, while the individual Realms of Syara feature more diverse representation in their own legislative bodies. In the years since the Refusal War, Syaran politics has essentially become a two-party system consisting of the Unionists and the Federalists.

Since the end of the Refusal War elections in national elections have been held every four years during the week of the summer solstice, with the first election held in 1988. Elections within Syara's realms are held every four years since starting in 1990, and therefore take place midway between national elections. National elections determine membership to the High Council, who in turn vote for the Executive of Syara; the Executive is usually the leader or chosen representative of the majority party. Although Syara features a parliamentary system, the Executive serves both as the head of state and the head of government. Realm elections determine membership in the Realm Senate of Makedon, Galania, and Scitaria, and the Grand Council of Hayreniky.
