Rinko Sugiyama (14 December 2020) is a Lucian soldier and intelligence officer currently serving under the private contractor, Pavlov & Craig as an intelligence officer. She is also a member of Task Force 141 under Detachment K.
Born in 2019, Rinko is the second child of Tatsumi Sugiyama and Shiori Akiyama. Rinko was raised under the careful observation of his great-grandmother Tsukuyo Kushineda. Rinko, like her elder brother, Kaoru is different from her cousins as she and her brother are the only ones of the Sugiyama family members that was born outside of Lucis, being born in the Erebonian Empire. Rinko has a passion for sword-fighting, hence she is called by her great-grandmother as Sword of Lilies. Hence, she often brings a Tantō as a concealed self-defence weapon. Rinko is one of her detachment's intelligence officers, working alongside Leon Statham and David Starcevich, who would later be her husband later on.
She bears close resemblance to her mother, Shiori Akiyama.
