Vaotua, officially the State of Vaotua is an island country in the Musgorocian Ocean. It lies closest to the Sanander Islands, which are located north and east of Vaotua, while Luttenried lies further south. Since 2012 it has been ruled by a one-party state following a coup d'état led by General Netanel Rauluni, who established a hereditary dictatorship as Turaga of Vaotua. Its territory mainly consists of the main island of Vaotua, which is home to its entire population of 836,889 people.

Vaotua's economy mainly revolves around tourism, the cultivation of sugarcane and fishing. Gold and wood are also major exports. In recent years some light industry has developed, especially textiles, food processing and paper making. Geopolitically, Vaotua is generally considered to be aligned with Carloso and Nifon, which are also major trade partners. It has close relations with Diji. It is a member of the International Security and Arbitration Council (ISAAC), as well as the Musgorocian Community (MC) For its size, the country's military, the Vaotuan Armed Forces, are large, with 30,000 active personnel.

Politics

Netanel Rauluni has ruled Vaotua as Turaga since 2012.

The 95-seat Matabose serves as the country's unicameral legislature. It is dominated by the country's sole legal party, the All-Vaotua People's Union.
