Sir. Yukio Kushineda Jr. OLE Rom: Kushineda Yukio (15 March 1902 - 16 August 2009) was a Lucian officer who served in the Lucis Army during the First Europan War, volunteering in the Estharian Civil War, and later on in the Second Europan War until retiring in 1962.
As the only son and only boy among his 6 siblings, Yukio was often looked up as the man of the house by his sisters. In 1917, at the age of 15, Yukio was among the teenagers who were recruited into the Lucis Army. Under supervision of his father, General Yukio Kushineda Sr., Yukio was rarely sent to the frontlines and often acted as a messenger in-between in father's headquarters and the secondary line units. He would serve until the war's end. When he returned, Yukio would meet his 6th and final sibling, Tsukuyo Kushineda, whom Yukio doted on.
Later on, Yukio was trained into the officer's corps, hence he later became a Captain during the Estharian Civil War, where he was a part of the Lucian force sent to help the Nationalists. His performance in the field caused him to be later promoted to Colonel. In 1937, he became a Brigadier. Later on, Yukio created the LRDG to support her younger sister's efforts during the Battle of Sania. He is also created with being the brainchild of what would later become the Special Air Service.
In 1942, he was transferred to Jutland-Gimli following the Fall of Tatabanya, in which the Lucis Commonwealth sent forces to aid the Aurucolians. Despite protests among the high command, including her youngest sister, Yukio was granted permission to lead the SAS contingent to Aurucolia. In Jutland and Aurucolia, Kushineda would train some of the first SAS troops to serve in their respective armies. In the two countries, Kushineda is often credited for the creation of the Jutland Special Air Service Regiment and the Különerők, Aurucolia's special operations force.
Following the war, Yukio would reunite with his wife and 4 children. Yukio is the paternal grandfather of Yukio Kushienda IV and Rikka Kushineda and the great-grandfather of Yukio Kushineda V and Lisa Kushineda, both of which are members of the ILESOC.
Kushineda Jr. left a lasting legacy that still persists to this day, being seen in the modern Allied Special Forces formation since his creation of the SAS. He earned the title of The Father of Special Forces and Operations Tactics.

Yukio went into college and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Here, he would meet Rikka Aikawa, a Nihhonese transferee. It wouldn't take long for the love between the two to bloom and they were later on married in 1925. Together, they would have 4 children.
