The Battle of the Paungwei Pocket (21 December 1944 - 15 January 1945) was the final battle that took place during the Liberation of Bethausia. After the disasterous Battle of Labu, the Quenminese and Archadian forces were forced to retreat to the Quenminese lands, leaving the desperate Ramuncian forces still trapped in Southern Bethausia. General Cristian Alexandrescu was left with 2 choices, surrender or break-out. Not wanting to be captured, Alexandrescu ordered a break-out in an attempt to escape to Quenmin.
