Operation X or mostly referred as the Imphal Offensive was the last major Quenminese Offensive in South Asianna before Brigadier General Kiều Dũng Quang retreated to Bethausia on August 1. The battle was fought between Quang's Quenminese Army and the combined Commonwealth Armies led by Generals Archibald Sugiyama and his wife, Brigadier Tsukuyo Kushineda, and Gallian General Friedrich O'Connelly and the Free Bethausian Army under General Zaw Sein Arkar's command. The offensive saw a massive Quenminese attack on the region around the city of Imphal, pushing the Allies back 10 kms from the outskirts of Imphal. Seeing one last opportunity to push the allied forces back to Central Indiae, Quang attempted to carry a dagger-thrust attack towards the weakest part of the Allied lines. However, this attempt stretched his supply lines and with the engagement with the Free Bethausian Forces under General Arkar's command in the Battle of Kojina, O'Connelly managed to reinforce Arkar's flank, allowing Sugiyama to counter the Quenminese and Quang was finally forced to retreat back to Bethausia.
This offensive marked the end of the war in South Asianna, liberating Indiae from Quenminese control.
