|'''David Timbend'''<br />Everybody welcome our current Prime Minister ... Vincent Gatostico!<br /><br /> | |||
'''David Timbend'''<br />Thank you for joining us today, Mr. Gatostico! This heat wave has been something, hasn't it?<br /><br />
'''Vincent Gatostico'''<br />Well, unfortunately, I can't stop heat waves if I get re-elected.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />If you could, that would be something! Maybe you'd need your own Synamatic movie! Now, let us move onto the upcoming election. So, what led to your decision to pursue re-election?<br /><br />
'''Vincent Gatostico'''<br />I am not done yet ... I'm really not. There is just so much work to be done and four years just isn't enough to improve our country and make it the best it has ever been.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />After four years, why should we re-elect you?<br /><br />
'''Vincent Gatostico'''<br />I have signed a lot of very important acts and accords such as the Vitosian Economic Union Accord, the 2018 Patient's Rights Act, the Endangered Species Protection Act and I have even legalized marijuana. Back in July 2019, I had signed the Nuclear Disaster Response Act, which helped boost the military's budget and in July 2021, I signed the Housing Mitigation Act, which helped with urban development. I have looked after the environment, the safety of others, our own military and I have helped with housing. My impact on these past four years have been incredible for our nation and, like I said before, I am not done.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />If you aren't done, could you tell us what concerns or issues you plan to face during your next tenure?<br /><br />
'''Vincent Gatostico'''<br />My biggest concern is actually an international one--that of Yuan.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Are you referring to Yuan's ongoing conflict with multiple nations? How does that affect us as Vitosians?<br /><br />
'''Vincent Gatostico'''<br />We may not be targeted but there is no doubt that the country of Yuan is going about things in a way that doesn't benefit anybody.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />So, regarding our nation and economy, you had to pick up the pieces from Raymond Venancias, who is still in prison. Do you feel as though you've done a satisfactory job so far?<br /><br />
'''Vincent Gatostico'''<br />I believe so, yes. I've put our nation's restoration from the tyrant as the forefront of my plans. Venancias was selfish, reckless and childish. The fact that he was elected before me is a dirty stain on our history. I believe that I have done so much in the past four years to rectify his mistakes.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />So, Jonah Bongiovanni has announced that he will not be returning for a second term. You had then announced that John Third would then be your new Deputy Prime Minister should you be re-elected. What led to that decision?<br /><br />
'''Vincent Gatostico'''<br />I completely respect Mr. Bongiovanni's decision. It was a very hard decision for sure and the both of us had discussed together the ideal person to be the new Deputy Prime Minister. We both felt as though John Savori III deserved to help lead the country, especially after losing to Raymond Venancias in 2014.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Unfortunately, that is all the time we have. Thank you for joining us, Mr. Gatostico.

|'''David Timbend'''<br />Everybody welcome, from the Prime Affinity Party ... Chelsea Espindola!<br /><br /> | |||
'''David Timbend'''<br />Going from the former Minister of Finance to Prime Minister. That is quite a leap!<br /><br />
'''Chelsea Espindola'''<br />It very much is. I have experience working for the government, especially in a position as Minister. I want to do more for our country and be the leader our country needs. Prime Minister Gatostico may have done good but I'm ready to take the reins and do amazing.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />What would make you the ideal leader of our nation, Mrs. Espindola?<br /><br />
'''Chelsea Espindola'''<br />One who would never put themselves first. I'm a mother of four, David, and a former accounting professor. I've led students and I've led my children to success. When you are in those positions, you have to know and you have to adapt to the people you lead. When you begin to get selfish, you fail everybody who is relying on you.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />What are some concerns and issues plaguing Vitosium?<br /><br />
'''Chelsea Espindola'''<br />People on disability are still below the poverty line. When you can't work and you can't live, that's an issue.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />That is true.<br /><br />
'''Chelsea Espindola'''<br />Say you end up in a wheelchair. You go on disability and you lose more than what caused you to go on there to begin with. You have to live in a cheap apartment, owned by some sleazy landlord and that's your life now. You want to eat healthy? Too bad, you are stuck on mac and cheese for the rest of your life. $1200 a month isn't enough for them, David. I want to change that.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Let us talk about your choice for Deputy Prime Minister. We all know the philanthropist and architect, Keith Monserrat. However, he has had no experience working for the government. So, what led to his appointment?<br /><br />
'''Chelsea Espindola'''<br />His concerns with the nation, as well as his experience in leading teams. He may not have a position in the government to any capacity but he has the knowledge and ideas to help me lead the nation. He is incredibly intelligent and knows what he is doing.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Unfortunately, that is all the time we have but thank you so much for joining us.

|'''David Timbend'''<br />Everybody welcome, from the newest party, the Vitosian Freedom Party ... Leo Afonsono!<br /><br /> | |||
'''David Timbend'''<br />Going from the Senate to the big office, what inspired this move?<br /><br />
'''Leo Afonsono'''<br />The poor leadership that Da Luz plans to bring is what inspired me. I agree with him on so many things but I feel as though he shouldn't be in the big seat.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />What makes you the leader to beat, Mr. Afonsono?<br /><br />
'''Leo Afonsono'''<br />My connections and my beliefs. I know what I'm doing, David. Let's talk about my competitors for a moment.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Alright.<br /><br />
'''Leo Afonsono'''<br />Vincent Gatostico. The guy's young, he cares for the environment and his daddy was a two term Prime Minister back in the 90s. Here's the thing, David. Why do trees get more care from the twink than our own citizens? Trees may be alive but so are our citizens? He's young but he's also way too young. I'm 15 years older than him, which means I have 15 more years of experience. While he is making sure the trees have a home, I want to make sure our citizens have a home. Trees don't pay our taxes, Vincent.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Back in 2021, Prime Minister Gatostico signed Housing Mitigation Act. Is that not looking out for our citizens? If you get in, what would you do to help the homeless?<br /><br />
'''Leo Afonsono'''<br />I would do more than make empty promises, I tell ya. Our homeless deserve homes, they deserve jobs, they deserve to live. We give them homes and we arm them.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Arm them?<br /><br />
'''Leo Afonsono'''<br />They need to protect their homes! The corrupt Gatostico administration took them away so we need to fight them.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Are you suggesting a war on their front lawns?<br /><br />
'''Leo Afonsono'''<br />I'm suggesting freedoms. We give them a house and we give them a gun. That's the Vitosian dream right there.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Many citizens have to pay thousands and thousands for property. Are you suggesting we give out free homes?<br /><br />
'''Leo Afonsono'''<br />Considering some of them may be illegal, they can stay homeless. For the true and pure Vitosians, we build them some small homes and find them a job. Then, we work on the lazy people on welfare. If you aren't working, you aren't Vitosian.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />That is an extreme view. Many supporters for the VFP may be on welfare.<br /><br />
'''Leo Afonsono'''<br />They all work, David. They are all hard-working citizens and you know that. Don't twist the truth here to make us sound lazy.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Well, that is all the time we have. Thank you for joining us, Mr. Afonsono.

!June 15th | |||
!Raquel Nobriga | |||
|'''David Timbend'''<br />Everybody welcome, from the Fortified Evolution Party ... Raquel Nobriga!<br /><br /> | |||
'''David Timbend'''<br />Mrs. Nobriga, your family includes former cherished Navocalco Premier, Henry Nobriga, and world-renown attorney at law, Maria Nobriga. Has being raised by two influential figures given you the skills to lead our nation?<br /><br />
'''Raquel Nobriga'''<br />Absolutely. I had followed my Mom's footsteps and attended a prestigious academy for law and have found success as a defense attorney. With my Dad's wise words and leadership skills, many of which I learned from him, I feel confident in following his footsteps as well.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Now your choice for Deputy Prime Minister is none other than Michelle Zimmermore who had served as the 32nd Prime Minister from 2002-2006. What led to this decision?<br /><br />
'''Raquel Nobriga'''<br />Michelle and I have been friends for over a decade now. She knows about my goals and started recommending me potential Deputies. I then asked her to join me instead.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />You mentioned goals just now. What are your goals should you be elected?<br /><br />
'''Raquel Nobriga'''<br />I'm all about human rights. My Mom is half-Emmirian, second generation, and she was subjected to an array of discrimination in the past over it. Just because we can't see or hear racism doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I've been called slurs as a child because of who I am. That is why I want to be the first Emmirian Prime Minister.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />That is amazing!<br /><br />
'''Raquel Nobriga'''<br />Thank you. I want Vitosium to be a better nation for those like me. I don't hide that my middle name is Emmirian. I've had it used against me but I'm proud of who I am. When the [[VMS Confianca Bombing]] happened, hate crimes against Emmirian-Vitosians got really bad. [[Al-Fijar]] aren't even Emmirian and others took it as an opportunity to spread fear and hate. I want to be a voice for all racial minorities who have gone through this. That is why I want people to vote for Raquel Ghaaziya Nobriga. I'm hear to represent not just the oppressed but the entire nation as a whole. We are all human and deserve to be treated equally.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Well, that is all the time we have. Thank you for joining us, Mrs. Nobriga.

|'''David Timbend'''<br />He is the former Premier of Maydover Island. Everybody welcome, from the Organized Advancement Party ... Kerry Managual!<br /><br /> | |||
'''David Timbend'''<br />Mr. Managual, it has been two years since you were last the province's Premier. How has it been for you?<br /><br />
'''Kerry Managual'''<br />As everybody knows, David, I'm a fantastic leader and I know what I'm doing. Unlike most of the candidates, I was in that leadership role.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Yeah.<br /><br />
'''Kerry Managual'''<br />When I lost in 2020, it was by a very close vote. The people may not have believed that I was ready for a third term but they'll, no doubt, believe that I am ready for the best job in the world: leading our amazing nation.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />What are some issues plaguing our nation right now?<br /><br />
'''Kerry Managual'''<br />Homelessness is the main issue, David. What happens when our brave soldiers come home? They have no roof, they have no food and they suffer all because they chose to defend our nation. That isn't right.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />I agree.<br /><br />
'''Kerry Managual'''<br />I want our soldiers to be guaranteed their homes. When you serve our nation, your house won't go anywhere. That's my promise.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />What about the others who are homeless?<br /><br />
'''Kerry Managual'''<br />I'd like to create programs to help them get back into society. While they participate, I'd like better shelters and even smaller homes that we can use to house them. I'm proposing a neighbourhood of small houses for them.<br /><br />
'''David Timbend'''<br />Well, that is all the time we have. Thank you for joining us, Mr. Managual.

|'''Miranda Tabiasso'''<br />For our next guest, we have a parliamentary candidate. It's ... Martin Da Luz!<br /><br /> | |||
'''Miranda Tabiasso'''<br />I'd like to get into the first question. For your Deputy pick, you chose Telmo Thomas. What led to that decision?<br /><br />
'''Martin Da Luz'''<br />Telmo Thomas is an honourable man. He knows what is right for this country. He would lay down his life for me.<br /><br />
'''Miranda Tabiasso'''<br />Telmo Thomas was, once, the Premier of Rhoti. During his tenure, he had made anti-Semitic statements as well as statements against Emmirian-Vitosians.<br /><br />
'''Martin Da Luz'''<br />Not guilty. Fake. All of it. What does it matter anyway? Everything he said is probably true.<br /><br />
'''Miranda Tabiasso'''<br />Past leaders of your party included Carter Tiabbo and Raymond Venancias. What makes you a better leader than them?<br /><br />
'''Martin Da Luz'''<br />They are both leaders that everybody should aspire to be.<br /><br />
'''Miranda Tabiasso'''<br />Tiabbo was involved in a smuggling ring. Is that really somebody we should aspire to be?<br /><br />
'''Martin Da Luz'''<br />He didn't smuggle rings, Miranda. You think a late night talk show host would actually do some research.<br /><br />
'''Miranda Tabiasso'''<br />When you get into office, what is the first thing you'll do.<br /><br />
'''Martin Da Luz'''<br />Take you off the air.<br /><br />
'''Miranda Tabiasso'''<br />I think it's best to cut this short. Thank you for joining us.

! How will you pay for your promises?
| "I would be redirecting funds, notably from the military, and put them into education and health." | |||
|- | |||
! Martin Da Luz | |||
! What makes you a better leader than previous PCP leaders?
| "There is, no doubt, that the PCP is the best party in, not just Vitosium, but the whole world. Not only are we more than capable but we've shown that. I will continue the legacy of our previous PCP leaders like Raymond Venancias and make our party even better, which, yes, is possible." | |||
|- | |||
! Vincent Gatostico | |||
! Should you be re-elected, what is one promise you plan to uphold that you failed to do so during your term?
| "I'd like to help those on disability and welfare. It was something that I had promised to do but failed to do." | |||
|- | |||
! Leo Afonsono | |||
! The Vitosian Freedom Party is a very recent founded party. What about your new party allows the people to trust you?
| "We may be new but we are already a very powerful party. This is the future of Vitosium right here. The strength of Vitosians is what powers us." | |||
|- | |||
! Chelsea Espindola | |||
! You were the former Minister of Finance. How does that translate into the responsibilities of a Prime Minister?
|"I was the Minister. I was in a role of leadership. Unlike the others here, I've been in a role of leadership my entire life, whether as a professor of economics or even Silvia Kellend's pick for the Minister of Finance. Not only do I know what I'm doing, I'm more than ready and more than capable to take on the responsibilities." | |||
|- | |||
! Raquel Nobriga | |||
! You have a former Prime Minister as your Deputy pick. Do you have anything to say to those believing that this would be Michelle Zimmermore's 2nd term?
| "Michelle Zimmermore may be my Deputy pick but she is not the Prime Minister candidate you see before you. I am an incredibly strong-willed and tough opponent to those you see here. I chose her because we share the same values but I promise you that I will not be in her shadow." | |||

!rowspan="2"|Open carry. Closed carry. No carry. As a nation, what are your views on our citizens carrying?
|'''Martin Da Luz'''<br /><br />"It's important as a nation to keep ourselves safe, especially when you have predators out there that want your kids like workers in Day Cares. If one Day Care worker even touches your kid, you should be able to give them a warning shot in the leg. How else will you keep them safe if you don't teach those pesky predators a lesson? What about the criminals? Somebody steals your garden gnome, cap 'em. Somebody shoplifts, cap 'em. The world would be a better place is the good guys were armed. The ones who know what justice truly is. Everybody who supports PCP should be armed. Everybody who supports any other party should have their guns taken away." | |||
|- | |||
|'''Vincent Gatostico'''<br /><br />"No carry is where I stand. The everyday citizen can be such a wildcard and you can't account for every single individual's mindset to know if they would be a danger or not with a gun. Say if you want to head to a cafe and you see somebody with a gun in the open. You aren't going to feel safe. If you also have the need to always carry a gun on you, are you truly in the mindset to be having one? Protection is nice but paranoia is where I draw the line." | |||
|- | |||
!rowspan="2"|Chelsea Espindola<br />Leo Afonsono
!rowspan="2"|What are you going to do about the overdose crisis in Primos (Vitosian province)?
|'''Chelsea Espindola'''<br /><br />"I'd like to start off with saying that there is no possible way we can ensure nobody takes hard drugs in our nation. The best approach would be to give away kits designed to help them should they begin to overdose." | |||
|- | |||
|'''Leo Afonsono'''<br /><br />"The overdose crisis in Primos? What about the ones in Kingsland? Ciunia? Tolagovia? Why just Primos? People just assume that, due to Primos being the manufacturing enterprise province that there is some sort of big drug issue. There is no overdose crisis in Primos. I have not seen a single person overdose in Primos. Now, in other parts of the country, my solution would be to make sure that they don't overdose. Give them an ample amount but nothing to cause an overdose. Yes, I'm suggesting we start legalizing other drugs." | |||
|- | |||
!rowspan="6"|Everybody
!rowspan="6"|What will your party do to help those with mental health issues?
|'''Chelsea Espindola'''<br /><br />"Our nation can't function if we can't work together as a team. I would like to open more facilities and programs that would help everybody. That's only the beginning. We need to keep our mental health as strong as we can." | |||
|- | |||
|'''Kerry Managual'''<br /><br />"Mental health concerns us all and homes are where we spend a majority of our time. To me, it makes sense that the type and quality of housing we live in contributes to our overall mental health and well-being. Healthy housing is housing that is safe, affordable, and accessible. The government should plan for housing that meets the needs of the community." | |||
|- | |||
|'''Leo Afonsono'''<br /><br />"The economic cost of mental health problems is vast. Almost one million people die due to suicide every year. My suggestion would be to increase suicide prevention and focus on that." | |||
|- | |||
|'''Martin Da Luz'''<br /><br />"We should stop discriminating against those who hold different opinions. The ones who suffer the most here are the PCP who can't feel human when some NPP or OAP tells them that they are wrong. It's not just okay to value PCP ideologies--it's normal to and it's encouraged to. You shouldn't feel ashamed when you like somebody and they get cancelled due to 'discriminating' or having an opinion that they shouldn't work. This is a nation where free speech thrives! You all want to take that away and THAT causes mental health issues! We should be able to express ourselves without fear of being cancelled. 'Slurs'? If you are so worried about them, reclaim them and don't pretend to be offended when we express ourselves." | |||

Fortified Evolution Party (FEP) |
Raquel Nobriga | Michelle Zimmermore | On May 20th, 1984, Raquel Nobriga was born to former Navocalco Premier, Henry Nobriga, and established lawyer, Maria Nobriga (née Bahri), in the city of Davenport, Navocalco. She would attend Sandra Contarini University in Marsapaglia and graduate with a master's degree in law and economics. She then moved to Sassarta, Entrofeira, Vitosium and gained prominence as a lawyer and businesswoman. This is also where she would meet former 32nd Prime Minister, Michelle Zimmermore. |
Neo Prosperity Party (NPP) |
Vincent Gatostico (current PM) | Johnathon "John" Savori III | Vincent Gatostico is the third child of former PM, Apollo Gatostico, and surgeon, Dr. Vanessa Gatostico (nee Alcantara). Born March 28th, 1990, he was raised in Gatovita, Kingsland. His father was a prominent political figure who would serve two terms as the 30th Prime Minister of Vitosium from 1992 to 2000. In 2002, the family would then move to Castellatri, Tolagovia. While originally wanting to pursue architecture, he would eventually settle on law, graduating from the esteemed Graycott Law School in Granelton, Casca, in 2011. He would become a civil rights attorney until 2016 where he was inspired to run against Raymond Venancias in the efforts of leading the country better. |
Organized Advancement Party (OAP) |
Kerry Managual | Victoria Netto | On April 12th, 1980, Kerry Managual was born as the son of former secretary of state for external affairs, Christopher Managual. Born and raised in Ovavo, Maydover Island, Managual would study law at Ovavo University. He would lead two terms as the Premier of Maydover Island until he was beaten by PAP's Melissa Paiotto in 2020. |
Prime Affinity Party (PAP) |
Chelsea Espindola | Keith Monserrat | In 1981, Chelsea Espindola was born to Joanna and Raymond Marcello. She would attend Marilves University for business administration and economics. In 2010, she was appointed by Silvia Kellend to be the Minister of Finance and stayed as such until Raymond Venancias' tenure where he replaced her in 2014. |
People's Conventional Party (PCP) |
Martin Da Luz | Telmo Thomas | On July 8th, 1976, Martin Da Luz was born in Nethersole, Rhoti, Vitosium to Michael Da Luz Jr. and Lori Da Luz. His father was a parliamentary candidate in the 2002 election where he lost to FEP's Michelle Zimmermore. In 1992, Da Luz graduated from Rhoti United University with a master's degree in economics. |
Vitosian Freedom Party (VFP) |
Leonardo "Leo" Afonsono | Geoffrey "Geoff" Hardin | On September 23rd, 1975, Leo Afonsono was born in Whitfield, Navocalco, to George Afonsono and Olivia Afonsono. When he was seven, the family moved to Tenellon, Rhoti. Although, when he was sixteen, they then moved to Estalva, Primos where he attended Visconti University for Medicine. In 2005, he would try and campaign to become the Premier of Primos during it's 2006 election but ultimately didn't make it. Individual Questions //LEADERSHIP// |
Kerry Managual | How will you pay for your promises? | "I would be redirecting funds, notably from the military, and put them into education and health."
Martin Da Luz | What makes you a better leader than previous PCP leaders? | "There is, no doubt, that the PCP is the best party in, not just Vitosium, but the whole world. Not only are we more than capable but we've shown that. I will continue the legacy of our previous PCP leaders like Raymond Venancias and make our party even better, which, yes, is possible."
Vincent Gatostico | Should you be re-elected, what is one promise you plan to uphold that you failed to do so during your term? | "I'd like to help those on disability and welfare. It was something that I had promised to do but failed to do."
Leo Afonsono | The Vitosian Freedom Party is a very recent founded party. What about your new party allows the people to trust you? | "We may be new but we are already a very powerful party. This is the future of Vitosium right here. The strength of Vitosians is what powers us."
Chelsea Espindola | You were the former Minister of Finance. How does that translate into the responsibilities of a Prime Minister? | "I was the Minister. I was in a role of leadership. Unlike the others here, I've been in a role of leadership my entire life, whether as a professor of economics or even Silvia Kellend's pick for the Minister of Finance. Not only do I know what I'm doing, I'm more than ready and more than capable to take on the responsibilities."
Raquel Nobriga | You have a former Prime Minister as your Deputy pick. Do you have anything to say to those believing that this would be Michelle Zimmermore's 2nd term? | "Michelle Zimmermore may be my Deputy pick but she is not the Prime Minister candidate you see before you. I am an incredibly strong-willed and tough opponent to those you see here. I chose her because we share the same values but I promise you that I will not be in her shadow."
Face To Face //LEADERSHIP// |
Martin Da Luz Vincent Gatostico |
Open carry. Closed carry. No carry. As a nation, what are your views on our citizens carrying? | Martin Da Luz "It's important as a nation to keep ourselves safe, especially when you have predators out there that want your kids like workers in Day Cares. Everybody who supports any other party should have their guns taken away."
Vincent Gatostico "No carry is where I stand. Protection is nice but paranoia is where I draw the line."
Chelsea Espindola Leo Afonsono |
What are you going to do about the overdose crisis in Primos (Vitosian province)? | Chelsea Espindola "I'd like to start off with saying that there is no possible way we can ensure nobody takes hard drugs in our nation. The best approach would be to give away kits designed to help them should they begin to overdose."
Leo Afonsono "The overdose crisis in Primos? What about the ones in Kingsland? Ciunia? Tolagovia? Why just Primos? People just assume that, due to Primos being the manufacturing enterprise province that there is some sort of big drug issue. There is no overdose crisis in Primos. I have not seen a single person overdose in Primos. Now, in other parts of the country, my solution would be to make sure that they don't overdose. Give them an ample amount but nothing to cause an overdose. Yes, I'm suggesting we start legalizing other drugs."
Everybody | What will your party do to help those with mental health issues? | Chelsea Espindola "Our nation can't function if we can't work together as a team. I would like to open more facilities and programs that would help everybody. That's only the beginning. We need to keep our mental health as strong as we can."
Kerry Managual "Mental health concerns us all and homes are where we spend a majority of our time. To me, it makes sense that the type and quality of housing we live in contributes to our overall mental health and well-being. Healthy housing is housing that is safe, affordable, and accessible. The government should plan for housing that meets the needs of the community."
Leo Afonsono "The economic cost of mental health problems is vast. Almost one million people die due to suicide every year. My suggestion would be to increase suicide prevention and focus on that."
Martin Da Luz "We should stop discriminating against those who hold different opinions.
